Mrittika Resort & Restaurant was born from a simple desire: to return to our roots. In a world of concrete and glass, we wanted to build something that breathes.

Inspired by the traditional mud houses of rural Bengal, our resort is a tribute to the artisans who shape the earth with their hands. Every cottage is constructed using eco-friendly materials—mud, bamboo, and thatch—providing natural insulation that keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.

We are located in the heart of nature, away from the city's chaos. Here, time slows down. You can watch the fishermen in our pond, listen to the folk songs of local Baul singers, and taste food that carries the flavor of the soil.
